Inspections
Start with a free look at what's really going on down there.
The assessment is the front door to everything we do. No pressure, no pricing games — we crawl the whole space, take photos, and walk you through it.
What happens on a visit
- 1
We crawl the whole space
Not a peek through the access door. We inspect every corner, every pier, every joist bay.
- 2
Photos and humidity readings
You get to see what we see. We record humidity levels so we're all working from real data, not guesses.
- 3
Plain-English report
We sit down with you and walk through the findings in language you can actually act on.
- 4
Your options — no pressure
If work is needed, we'll lay out what and why. If nothing's wrong, we'll say so. No sales script.

Frequently asked questions
Will someone try to upsell me when they arrive?
No. Our quotes are based on what we actually find — nothing more. We price the job before we start and stick to it. If something unexpected comes up, we tell you before we touch it.
How do I know if my crawl space really needs this?
If you notice a musty smell, high humidity, visible mold, soft or springy floors, or you simply haven't had it inspected in the last 5 years, the answer is almost certainly yes. Raleigh's humid climate makes crawl space moisture problems extremely common. The free assessment tells you for sure — and if you don't need work, we'll tell you that too.
What does the free assessment include?
One of our team crawls the entire space, takes photos, and measures humidity. We check for visible mold, standing water or evidence of past flooding, vapor barrier condition, insulation and rim joists, airflow, ductwork or plumbing leaks, wood damage, and pest evidence. Then we sit down with you, show you the photos, and explain what we saw in plain language. If nothing needs fixing, we'll tell you that too.
How long does the assessment take?
Usually 45 minutes to an hour on site, depending on how large and how accessible the crawl space is. We'll go over findings with you before we leave. There's no obligation and no high-pressure sales — just a straight explanation of what's happening under your home and what your options are.
